Meet the Team

I believe that every leader must lead with example, be an excellent communicator and exhibit an ability to adjust with every evolving situation. As the principal dentist of Smileville Dental, I strive to promote oral health and prevention with ongoing support and hard work of my fabulous team of dedicated professionals.

I am a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax and I feel honoured to have won the award for Superior Clinical Skills and Patient Compassion. Dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry, I keep myself up to date with the latest technologies available. My team and I provide Calgary families with the most advanced and comprehensive dental care. I focus on creating treatment plans to maintain and restore oral health of our patients in addition to monitoring growth and development of teeth and jaws. I believe that Dentists are artists. Combining this trait with compassion and expertise, it is essential to provide personalized care and be concerned about how the patient feels during procedures. I keep the conversation in the simplest terms to reduce patient anxiety as much as possible.

I am a proud supporter of the University of Calgary Dinos and passionate about providing dental care to the current, and future athletes. I am an avid Calgary Flames fan, and in my free time, I love watching ice hockey, going hiking and spending time with my family.

I have often been asked what my organization’s biggest asset is. I have always been a strong believer of the fact that the employees are any company’s biggest asset. As a leader, you provide training and direction, but it is a team’s collective effort that helps achieve the organization’s strategic goal. It is your job to prioritize your employees, suppliers, business partners and clients over corporate demands, and success will follow.

I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. When I was in the university, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and took keen interest in business and financial management. I became associated with Smileville Dental as the Managing Partner since its inception in 2018. I have been involved in the corporate planning and execution leading a team of qualified dental professionals. Smileville Dental actively participates in various community support initiatives and is a proud sponsor of the University of Calgary Dinos.

When I am not at work, I enjoy reading a good book and listening to music. I also love to watch tennis and ice hockey. But, at the core, I continue to pursue opportunities, never stop learning, and strive for success while keeping things simple.

To provide excellent patient care, I believe it is essential to treat every individual with respect, compassion, and empathy. As the associate dentist at Smileville Dental, I strive to exceed expectations through effective communication and a holistic approach.

Born and raised in Edmonton, I obtained my BSc. in Chemistry with high distinction from Concordia University of Edmonton. After working in the healthcare industry for two years, I was offered an entrance scholarship for admission into the dentistry program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine; I obtained my DMD degree, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honours. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and am committed to learning about the latest advancements and technologies with respect to the dental profession. My goal is to ensure that each patient feels comfortable and relaxed during an appointment. I believe that each person is unique, thus my approach is always flexible and tailored to ensure patient satisfaction.

During my free time, I enjoy going for walks, reading, watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends.

I believe patient empowerment and education is vital in supporting our patients to make informed decisions and encouraging patients to assume an active role in their oral health. As an associate dentist at Smileville Dental, I am committed to providing compassionate patient-centered care and building trusting relationships with each patient.

Born and raised in Calgary, I obtained by Bachelor of Science in Psychology with distinction from The University of Calgary.  Shortly following my undergraduate degree, I pursued the opportunity to study in Australia where I graduated from The University of Melbourne with my degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. Over the course of my degree I was given the opportunity to work with underprivileged populations in both rural and urban Australia.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, travelling, trying new foods and spending time with my family and friends.

I have been in the dental profession since 2016. I bring with me Dental Assisting and Administrative experience. I started off as a Dental Administrator with Smileville Dental, and through hard work and dedication, I got promoted to Manager of Clinical Operations. I am dedicated to ensuring all my staff are supported and all our patients receive the best quality care. I look forward to seeing all our patients’ smiling faces.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing volleyball and baseball, and going on long walks with my dog.

My strongest motivation for being a Dental Hygienist is being able to work alongside my patients in a collaborative effort to help achieve a healthy, confident smile, and make a positive impact on the world one individual at a time. I am very passionate about evaluating the oral health of my patients and educating them on ways they can improve their oral hygiene not only to experience the full functionality of their smile but also to achieve sustainable overall health.

Outside of work I love reading, going on long drives, and spending time with family and friends.

As a Dental Hygienist, I enjoy helping my clients achieve and preserve their best smiles. I completed the Dental Hygiene program in Ottawa at the Canadian National Institute of Health, with honours. I then started working as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Saskatoon until I moved to Calgary with my family in 2021, where I continued.

I enjoy practicing all hygiene aspects of general dentistry. I advocate dental hygiene professional preventive services through appropriate patient guidance and the regular provision. Client and patient-centred care is the fundamental principle for my work conducted by respect for their individual needs, values, and life circumstances. I am committed in continuing my education for up-to-date knowledge and skills, to ensure high-quality service.

Outside of dentistry, I’m a reader and enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

Being able to practice dental hygiene and help people on a daily basis gives me immense satisfaction as a professional. I graduated from Oxford College of Arts, Business and Technology in Toronto in the year 2023 and moved to Calgary to practice the profession.

I always put the needs of my patients first and ensure that they understand the importance of an optimal oral hygiene. I am also committed to always upgrade my skills to provide the best care possible.

When I am not working, I like to travel, enjoying different cuisines and spending quality time with my family.

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for about 18 years now. I enjoy educating people about their oral health. It is extremely rewarding to see people who are initially very afraid to be in a dental office become confident and elated to see us.

I have lived in Calgary for about 30 years, and I love it here. I could not imagine living anywhere else! In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching Netflix, and spending time with my sons and friends.

I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at CDI college in 2022. Upon graduation, I got hired at Smileville Dental as a Registered Dental Assistant obtaining both Administrative and Assisting experience. I enjoy interacting with patients everyday and strive to create a comfortable and positive dental experience for every patient.

Outside of work I love to spend time with family and friends, playing baseball. and golfing in the summer.

Upon graduating from the Dental Assisting Program, I joined the Smileville Dental Team. I enjoy the fast-paced environment of the clinic and educating patients about the importance of oral health. It is propelling for me to see patients become engaged and motivated. One day I hope to volunteer or join a dental mission helping people who don't have access to dental services.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, lounge around, and watch Netflix.
